The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Schmalspur e.V. (Arge-S in the
short form) was founded in 1983. It does not matter whether you
like main line narrow gauge (like the Swiss RhB or the D&RGW)
or short lines or logging railroads or industrial railroads - as
long as the gauge is less than 1435mm! If you like swiss or german
or austrian or american or ... narrow gauge railroads you can
become a member of our "Arge-S"!
The scale in which you model makes no difference, it can be
anything between 1:1 (museum railroads,..) to 1:160 (like Nf) (or
even smaller). We publish a magazine, the Arge-S info four
times a year. This magazine features articles about narrow gauge
railroads all around the world, however the main emphasis is on
Europe and it is written in German!
